So it’s only January and of course there are songs we haven’t even heard yet that we’re sure to love for wedding anthems and first dances. But… We do have some current faves we just have to share. Songs that are perfect for for dances and father/daughter or mother/son dances, and just the right jams to get everyone out on the dance floor.
For your first dance: James Arthur “Say You Won’t Let Go”
For dancing with your parents: Train “Play That Song”
For the bridal party: Calvin Harris ft. Rihanna “This Is What You Came For”
For the groomsmen: Bruno Mars “24K Magic”
For everyone on the dance floor: Justin Timerlake “Can’t Stop The Feeling”
The last slow song that ends the night: John Legend “Love Me Now”
So now that you’ve got the beginnings of an amazing wedding playlist why not learn some new moves? California Ballroom has a variety of classes and instructors to help you and your fiance, or even your whole bridal party, get ready to dance the night away at your reception. Learn some slow dance basics for your first dance as a married couple, a bit of two step for a cute father daughter dance, or an over the top routine with your wedding party that will surprise and delight your guests.
