Sometimes the smallest details make the biggest impact. We know planning your wedding is overwhelming: with all the big checkmarks like site, catering, timeline, seating chart… the list goes on. But with all of the big items, there are some small details that will make a large impact on your guests and their experience.
We’ve partnered with Tara from Ybarra Events on this blog post. Tara works with her other half James as a husband and wife duo. Their beautiful customer service, creativity, and calming demeanor make them the ideal wedding planners, and they will ensure your event runs smoothly and make sure your personality shines through in the details. 5 WAYS TO TREAT YOUR GUESTS
1. Snuggle up
For those chillier weddings: A basket of warm blankets is the perfect way to show your guests you are thinking of them. No cold feet or cold anything else at this wedding!
2. Welcome Beverages

Something old, something new, something Ice Cold just for you! Having a pre-ceremony Welcome Bar of cold beverages is a must for an outdoor summer wedding. Make it on theme for your wedding and set the tone for the party.
3. Toiletries Basket for the Restrooms

Inevitably, someone always needs a bit of refreshing after an hour or so of dancing (or after crying during the ceremony — we’ve all been there!) Put together a little basket in each of the restrooms to make sure your guests are comfortable. We recommend mints, tissues, individually wrapped floss sticks, bobby pins and body spray!
4. Something Sweet
Literally treat your guests 🍨 🍦 🍰 🍩 🍪 with something sweet!
Dessert Bars are becoming more and more popular. They are truly adorable and not everyone likes wedding cake so it is nice to have a selection of desserts available.
5. Welcome Baskets

For the wedding that has a lot of out-of-towners or for those destination weddings, it is much appreciated to have a welcome basket full of local treats and other necessities awaiting your arrival. Local treats are a special way of giving them a piece of your home. For Sonoma County natives, our vote is wine tasting for 2 at nearby winery for the day-after (or beer tasting – it’s the new ‘it’ thing here)!
